Charles Cornelius, born on October 27, 1945, is a former Indian hockey goalkeeper and Olympic medalist. He represented India at the 1972 Munich Olympics, winning a bronze medal, and at the 1973 Hockey World Cup, securing a silver medal. He began his coaching career in 1977 with the Punjab Hockey Team and served as a national coach and selector for various teams. Notably, he worked for the National Institute of Sports as a zonal officer and was involved in numerous sports events, including the Asian Games and SAF Games.
