Charles D. Provan (1955-2007) was a Christian theologian and author from Monongahela, Pennsylvania, known for his controversial views on Holocaust denial and contraception. Initially a denier, he later accepted the validity of Holocaust accounts. Provan attended Bob Jones University and the University of Pittsburgh but did not graduate. As an advocate for the Quiverfull movement, his book, 'The Bible and Birth Control', provided theological justification. He died of natural causes in 2007, leaving behind a significant body of work including studies on biblical allegories and prophecies.
