Charles Desjardins is a French journalist and author, born on August 25, 1962, in Ua Huka, Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia. He served as editor-in-chief of the national daily France-Soir from 2006 to 2012 and is currently an editorial advisor for ArtsHebdoMedias.com. Desjardins graduated from the French Institute of Journalism in 1988 and holds a master's degree in public law from Panthéon-Assas University. He also teaches journalism as a lecturer at the same university and co-authored a book on the Eiffel Tower in 2002.
