Charles Richard Garrett was an English cricketer and Royal Navy officer, born in British India in March 1901. He graduated from the Britannia Royal Naval College and served in the Royal Navy, achieving the rank of commander during World War II. Garrett made his first-class cricket debut in 1926 for the Royal Navy Cricket Club and played four matches in total. He took 7 wickets, with his best performance being 3 for 124. He was placed on the retired list in 1934 but returned during the war, being promoted and appointed in various capacities until his death in Kenya in 1968.
