Charles Jackson Jr. was an American serial killer and rapist known as The East Bay Slayer. He murdered at least seven women and one man in the San Francisco Bay area between 1975 and 1982. Although he was convicted of one murder, many of his crimes remained uncovered until after his death in 2002. Jackson is also suspected of committing several additional murders, with his heinous acts being brought to light through DNA profiling.
