Charles Kinkead was a Jamaican photojournalist and journalist, known for his extensive career spanning over four decades. Born Charles Harold Austin Kinkead, he worked as a news photographer for several Jamaican publications, receiving notable awards such as the Seprod Human Interest Photograph Award in 1973 and the Order of Distinction in 1978. He relocated to Florida in the 1980s for retirement and passed away on 1 June 2007, at the age of 93, after suffering a stroke, leaving behind his wife and five children.
