Charles Noel Mariotti Tapia, born on March 10, 1958, is a Dominican politician, manager, and broadcaster. He served as Senator for Monte Plata, first elected in 2006 and re-elected in 2010. Mariotti, born in Las Matas de Farfán, is a descendant of notable figures including Dominican independence hero Timoteo Ogando and former president Ulises Heureaux. He held the position of Civil-Governor of Monte Plata from 1998 to 2000 and is the President of the Italy-Dominican Republic Parliamentary Association.
