He serves as a member of Commission XI and the Budget Board of the Indonesian House of Representatives from 2019 to 2024, representing the NasDem Party. He was elected in the 2019 legislative elections with 99,917 votes. Additionally, he is the Chairman of Media and Public Communication of NasDem. Charles is the second of seven siblings, has a master's degree in communication, and lives in Jakarta with his wife and three sons.
