Charles Ng (born December 24, 1960) is a serial killer of Hong Kong origin who operated in the United States between 1984 and 1985. Authorities believe Ng and his partner Leonard Lake killed at least 11 victims at Lake's cabin in Calaveras County, California, with the number potentially reaching 25. After being arrested in Canada for theft and illegal possession of firearms, a lengthy dispute ensued between Canada and the U.S. Ng was extradited in 1989 and convicted of 11 murders in 1999. He is currently on death row at San Quentin State Prison in California.
