Charles P. Otstott, born on June 2, 1937, in Dallas, Texas, is a retired Lieutenant General of the United States Army. He commanded the 25th Infantry Division and served multiple tours in the Vietnam War. After graduating from West Point, he held various officer ranks and completed numerous military courses. Otstott was also a professor at West Point and held positions including Deputy Chair of the NATO Military Committee before retiring in 1992. Post-military, he served on several corporate boards and has been a consultant since 2001.
