Charles T. Meide Jr., also known as Chuck Meide, is an underwater and maritime archaeologist born on March 23, 1971. He is currently the Director of LAMP at the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum in Florida. With degrees in Anthropology and a focus on underwater archaeology, Meide has led various maritime projects including the discovery of shipwrecks such as the 'Storm Wreck' and excavated many historical sites. He serves as adjunct faculty at Flagler College and has authored over 50 academic works, contributing significantly to maritime archaeology.
