Charles Templeton was a Canadian cartoonist, former preacher, agnostic, politician, journalist, inventor, broadcaster, and author. He was born in Toronto, Ontario on October 7, 1915. He studied at Parkdale Institute and co-founded the Youth for Christ organization with Torry Johnson. Notably, he authored the book 'Farewell to God'. Templeton passed away in Toronto, Ontario on June 7, 2001.
