Charles Wereko-Brobby is a Ghanaian engineering scientist, diplomat, politician, and founder of the United Ghana Movement (UGM). Born on March 27, 1953, in Kumasi, Ghana, he served as a presidential candidate in the 2000 elections. Wereko-Brobby played a significant role in organizing Ghana's 50th Independence anniversary celebration. He is married to Joyce Rosalind Wereko-Brobby, who was born on March 27, 1946. Wereko-Brobby stood as a candidate for the UGM during the presidential elections in Ghana in 2000 but did not succeed.
