Charles Geoffrey Wylie OBE was a British Army lieutenant colonel known for his role in the 1953 British Mount Everest expedition as its organising secretary. He served with the 10th Gurkha Rifles and was a founding member of the Army Mountaineering Association. Wylie, who joined the Association in 1958, was recognized for his service to mountaineering and the military by being appointed OBE in the 1995 New Year Honours.
