Charles Andrew Armstrong (April 20, 1919 – July 20, 2001) was an American football halfback and fullback. He was born in Hickory, Mississippi, and played college football at Mississippi College from 1938 to 1940, becoming a leading scorer in the Dixie Conference. Although selected in the 1941 NFL draft by the Chicago Cardinals, he never played in the NFL due to military service in WWII. He later played for the Brooklyn Dodgers in the All-America Football Conference in 1946. Armstrong passed away in 2001 in Meridian, Mississippi.
