Charlotte Angus was an American artist born on February 2, 1911, in Kansas City, Missouri. She grew up in Philadelphia, where she studied at the University of the Arts. During her career, she produced over 60 works primarily in watercolors and graphite, contributing significantly to the Index of American Design. Angus was involved with the Federal Art Project and later worked as a draftswoman. She married John Stefanak in 1947 and continued to exhibit her art until her death on May 12, 1989, in Pulaski, Pennsylvania.
