Charmain Welsh is a retired English diver born on May 17, 1937, in Easington. She competed in the 1950s, representing Great Britain in the Summer Olympics. At the 1952 Helsinki Olympics, she finished fifth in the 3-metre springboard event. Four years later, during the Melbourne Olympics, she participated in two diving events but placed outside the top ten in both. Notably, she earned a silver medal at the 1958 European Aquatics Championships and won two gold medals at the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games.
