He represented the Narasapuram constituency in the 14th Lok Sabha from 2004 to 2009 and was elected as MLA four times, serving in Palakollu and Narasapuram. He transitioned between several political parties, including Congress, Praja Rajyam Party, and YSR Congress Party. Jogaiah published his political autobiography '60 Vasantala Naa Rajakeeya Prasthanam' in 2015, detailing his experiences in politics.
