José Manuel 'Chema' Dávila Pérez is a Spanish politician and hardware salesman born on February 23, 1972, in Madrid. He studied psychology at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and worked independently in a hardware store for fifteen years. Affiliated with the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) since 1998, he was elected as a city councilor in Madrid in 2015. Serving as the spokesperson for the Socialist Municipal Group on Environment and Mobility, he supported the implementation of Madrid Central and aimed for the PSOE candidacy for mayor in 2019 but lost in primaries.
