Chen Guang (February 24, 1905 – June 7, 1954), originally named Chen Shichun, was a senior general in the People's Liberation Army of China. He participated in several key events, including the Xiangnan Uprising and the Long March. During the Second Sino-Japanese War, he served as a leader in the Eighth Route Army. In the Chinese Civil War, he held various important military positions. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he was later expelled from the Communist Party and imprisoned, ultimately leading to his tragic self-immolation in 1954.
