Chen Mingchuan, born on February 21, 1965, is a Chinese Go player. He achieved multiple promotions in the national Go ranking tournament, moving from fourth to fifth dan in 1983, fifth to sixth dan in 1985, and sixth to seventh dan in 1986. He studied in Japan, where he also translated Japanese Go rules. Currently, he teaches Go at Yunnan University.
