Chen Xi, born on September 16, 1953, is a prominent Chinese Communist politician. He has been the director of the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China since 2017 and is a member of the Central Committee since 2012. Chen served in various significant roles including a member of the Politburo, and secretary of the Secretariat from 2017 to 2022. He graduated from Tsinghua University, where he also worked until 2008, before taking positions in the Ministry of Education and the Liaoning provincial organization of the Communist Party.
