Cherian J. Kappan, also spelled as Kappen, was an influential political figure from Kerala, India. He was a freedom fighter and a leader in the Indian National Congress. Kappan served as a member of the Travancore State Legislature from 1948 to 1951 and later as an MLA in the Travancore-Cochin Legislative Assembly from 1952 to 1954, representing the Ramapuram constituency. He also served in the third Lok Sabha from 1962 to 1967 for the Muvattupuzha constituency and was the first chairman of the Pala Municipality.
