Cherish Perrywinkle was an 8-year-old girl from Jacksonville, Florida. She was abducted from a Walmart on June 21, 2013. CCTV footage showed her leaving the store with a man named Donald James Smith. Smith was later convicted of murdering Cherish and was sentenced to death.
