Chieko Misaki was a Japanese actress and singer, born on February 20, 1921. She is best known for portraying aunt Tsune Kuruma in the popular film series 'It's Tough Being a Man'. Misaki started her career as a singer in 1939 and later contributed to post-war Kimono shows. Over her career, she appeared in over forty films featuring the same lead character, continuing her role as his aunt across several decades until the series' last installment in 1995. Misaki was married to fellow actor Masayoshi Miyasaka.
