Chien-Fa Yen (born July 21, 1959) is a Taiwanese academic and politician. He holds a PhD from Tunghai University and completed postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley. Yen has held various positions within the Democratic Progressive Party, including Deputy Executive Director of the Policy Committee and Director of the China Affairs Department. He currently serves as a professor and the Director of the International Cooperation Office at Chien Hsin University. He has publicly expressed views on Taiwan's independence movement, stating that Taiwan is already sovereign.
