Chiharu Nishikata is a former Japanese ski jumper and ski jump coach, born on February 13, 1959. He competed in the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup from 1981 to 1987 and made his debut during the 1981/82 Four Hills Tournament. Nishikata secured his first World Cup points in Thunder Bay, placing 13th. He participated in several championships, achieving a best individual World Cup result of 7th place. He had a brief hiatus from competition before returning for the 1993 Nordic World Ski Championships, where he finished 6th on the normal hill in Falun.
