Chihiro Akami, born on February 2, 1978, is a former Japanese jockey who transitioned into a career as a talent, horse racing commentator, and manga writer. She was affiliated with Takasaki Racecourse during her racing career. Hailing from Fujioka, Gunma Prefecture, Akami retired from jockeying in 2005 following the abolition of Northern Kanto horse racing and has since been active in the entertainment industry and horse racing commentary.
