Chika Horie is a former Japanese long-distance runner and marathon athlete, born on February 15, 1981, in Kakogawa, Hyogo Prefecture. She graduated from Suma Girls' High School and joined Sekisui Chemical in 1999, coached by Yoshio Koide. Horie achieved notable successes, including winning the 1998 National High School Championships in the 3000m and her marathon debut at the 2000 Nagano Marathon, where she placed 4th with a time that remains a record for Japanese junior women. She retired from professional athletics in 2014.
