He played as a left-winger and is regarded as the best East Pakistani footballer of all time. He represented the Pakistan national team and is recognized as the unregistered all-time top scorer in Dhaka League and Bangladeshi top-tier football history, with an impressive tally of 234 goals. He passed away on May 10, 2012.
