Chilean singer and visual artist María José Ayarza, known as Chini.png, began her career with the band Chini & the Technicians in 2014. Her solo project launched in 2020 with the EP Ctrl+Z, which garnered three nominations at the 2021 Pulsar Awards, including Best New Artist. She has performed at festivals such as BIME Festival in Spain and Lollapalooza Chile. Her 2023 album, El Día Libre de Polux, received recognition from Rolling Stone and KEXP as one of the top Spanish-language albums of the year.
