Cho Yang-eun is a South Korean organized crime leader who was the head of the Yang Eun-i faction. Born on January 18, 1950, in Gwangju, he established the violent organization in the 1970s, operating in Seoul alongside other factions. He was imprisoned in 1980, serving 15 years before being released in 1995. Following his release, he declared a newfound faith and became a Presbyterian minister, although he faced further legal issues in 1996 and 2001. He operated a restaurant from 2004 to 2007 before closing it.
