Choudhury Mohan Jatua is an Indian politician serving as the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting in the Second Manmohan Singh Ministry. He was elected as a Member of Parliament from the Mathurapur constituency in the 15th Lok Sabha as a candidate of the All India Trinamool Congress. At 71 years old, he holds a postgraduate degree in commerce from the University of Calcutta and is a former Deputy Inspector General of the West Bengal Police. He won the Mandir Bazaar Assembly seat in 2001 as a Trinamool Congress candidate.
