Chris Biggs, born on October 14, 1958, is an American lawyer and politician, notably serving as the 30th Secretary of State of Kansas after his appointment by Governor Mark Parkinson on March 16, 2010. His prior roles included Kansas Securities Commissioner from 2003 and Geary County Prosecutor from 1989 to 2003. He was the Democratic nominee for Attorney General in 2002, narrowly losing to Republican Phill Kline. In the 2010 election, he failed to secure a full term as Secretary of State, losing by a significant margin.
