Chris Minh Doky is a Danish jazz musician born on February 7, 1969, in Copenhagen. He plays the double bass and electric bass, and his heritage includes a Danish mother and a Vietnamese father. A graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Music, Doky has performed with several renowned musicians since moving to New York in 1989. He was a member of the DR Big Band and produced Randy Brecker's album 'The Jazz Ballad Song Book'. He founded the band Electric Nomads, blending jazz and funk.
