Christopher William Wallace Rea is a former Scotland international rugby union player, born on October 22, 1943. He represented Scotland 13 times, scoring three tries including a decisive one in the 1971 Calcutta Cup. A member of the British and Irish Lions in 1971, he played club rugby for Headingley FC and West of Scotland F.C. Transitioning to journalism, Rea worked for the BBC and was Head of Marketing at the MCC. He was also the IRB Communications Manager in 2000 and hosted various sports shows in the 1980s and 1990s, including Rugby Special.
