Christian Chessel (born October 27, 1958, in Digne-les-Bains, killed December 27, 1994, in Tizi Ouzou) was a Catholic priest and a French white father. He was one of the 19 martyrs of the Catholic Church killed in Algeria between 1994 and 1996, notably among the Trappist monks. He was beatified as a martyr by the Church on December 8, 2018.
