Christian Dauriac, born Christian Baysse on March 1, 1952, in Aurillac, Cantal, is a French journalist. He studied at Émile Duclaux and Montesquieu lycées and graduated from the Institut d'études politiques de Bordeaux. Dauriac worked for various stations including Radio France and France Culture, eventually modernizing Soir 3 at France 3. He later created a regional correspondent network for TF1 and held multiple roles at France Télévision. In 2012, he became chief editor of the RTBF news program but was dismissed in 2015 for alleged misconduct, claims he disputes.
