Christoph Eidens was a German jazz vibraphonist, born on June 4, 1958, in Duisburg. Initially playing guitar and piano, he later specialized in vibraphone after studying mallet percussion. Eidens performed in the USA with renowned musicians like Randy Brecker and toured with various ensembles, including WDR Big Band Köln. His album 'Cameroon Dance' was released in 1998. As a co-founder of the Cologne Jazz Association, he played a vital role in the local jazz scene until his death on February 2, 2005, in Cologne.
