Christopher "Chopper" Amoroso was a police officer with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey who tragically lost his life during the September 11, 2001 attacks. His last moments were depicted in Oliver Stone's 2006 movie, World Trade Center, where he was portrayed by Jon Bernthal. Amoroso died when the South Tower collapsed. Raised in North Bergen, New Jersey, he attended North Bergen High School before joining the police force.
