Christopher Bartle, often referred to as Chris Bartle, is a prominent English dressage and eventing rider and trainer born on February 19, 1952, in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, UK. He has been a successful Olympian and has served as the national coach of the German eventing team since 2001 alongside Hans Melzer. Currently, he manages the Yorkshire Riding Centre in Harrogate. Chris is the younger brother of Jane Bartle-Wilson, who also competed in the Olympics in Los Angeles in 1984.
