Christopher Walter Monckton, 3rd Viscount Monckton of Brenchley is a British politician, speaker, former journalist, and hereditary peer born on February 14, 1952. Previously a member of the Conservative Party, he has been the deputy leader of UKIP since June 2010. Monckton served in the Conservative Party's headquarters and worked as an advisor to Margaret Thatcher in the 1980s. In the 1990s, he gained fame for creating the Eternity puzzle, offering a reward for solving it. Recently, he has been known for his skeptical views on anthropogenic global warming.
