Christopher Simcox was an English double murderer known for being sentenced to death twice and reprieved both times. He lived in Smethwick, Staffordshire, and was a maintenance fitter. After murdering his second wife in 1948, he received a death sentence but was reprieved due to legislative changes. After a violent episode with his third wife, he killed her sister and shot himself, leading to a second death sentence in 1964. Ultimately, he was reprieved again and served life imprisonment until his death in prison in 1981.
