Tan Sri Datuk Seri Dr. Chua Soi Lek is a prominent Chinese Malaysian politician from Johor, born on 2 January 1947. He served as the 9th President of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) from 2010 to 2013 and was the Minister of Health from 2004 to 2008. Chua has been a Member of Parliament for Labis (2004-2008) and served four terms in the Johor State Legislative Assembly for Penggaram from 1986 to 2004.
