Chung Mong-won is a prominent South Korean ice hockey administrator and businessman born on August 4, 1955. He has played a significant role in the development of ice hockey in South Korea, founding the Anyang Halla hockey team and co-founding Asia League Ice Hockey. Chung served as the manager of the South Korea men's national ice hockey team and became chairman of the Korea Ice Hockey Association. He implemented a plan for the national teams ahead of the 2018 Winter Olympics and was recognized by the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2020.
