Elizabeth Clare McLaren-Throckmorton, known professionally as Clare Tritton, was a prominent British barrister and member of the Throckmorton family. Born on August 18, 1935, she served as a Queen's Counsel and was the tenant of Coughton Court, the historic residence of her family in Warwickshire. She owned the Molland Estate in North Devon as well. Clare passed away on October 31, 2017, leaving behind a legacy in the legal community.
