Claude-Jean Darmon is a French artist known for his work as a drawer and printmaker specializing in drypoint engraving. Born on December 25, 1934, in Oran, he has been living in the Paris region since 1960. Darmon is a member of the National Committee of Printmaking and the engraving section of the Salon d'Automne, which he presides over. He also serves on the committee of the Salon de Mai and is vice-president of Jeune Gravure Contemporaine. Since 2006, he has been a correspondent for the Academy of Fine Arts.
