Claudia Joan Alexander (1959-2015) was an American research scientist specializing in Earth physics and planetary science. She worked at the United States Geological Survey and NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Alexander was the last project manager for NASA's Galileo mission to Jupiter. Until her death, she served as a project manager and NASA scientist for the European Space Agency's Rosetta mission, which aimed to study comet Chury. In addition to her scientific work, she wrote science fiction and children's stories.
