Clifton 'Clif' Magness, born on April 24, 1957, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He is renowned for co-writing and producing several tracks on Avril Lavigne's acclaimed 2002 debut album, 'Let Go', especially the hit single 'Losing Grip'. Magness also won a Grammy for the instrumental arrangement on 'The Places You Find Love' from Quincy Jones' album, and received multiple nominations for his work on 'The Day I Fall In Love' from the film Beethoven's 2nd.
