Cody Joe Ponce, born on April 25, 1994, is an American professional baseball pitcher. He currently plays for the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). Ponce has previously competed in Major League Baseball (MLB), representing the Pittsburgh Pirates, and has also played in NPB for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. His collegiate career was spent with the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos where he developed his skills as a pitcher.
